To celebrate your son's Bar Mitzvah, Chabad Whitefield offers 2 packages for his special day.
Package 1: Weekday
Suggested donation: £150
• On the Monday or Thursday after the Hebrew birthday. This ceremony marks the first time a Bar Mitzvah boy gets called up to the Torah and lays Tefillin.
• Included is one prep session with Rabbi Shmuli and a completion certificate.
• The service usually begins at 7:30am, lasting approx 45 minutes, followed by a light breakfast.
Per 12 guests:
- Sandwich platter - £35
- Pastry platter - £28
We recommend you bring one bottle of whiskey for L'chaims.
Light breakfast – This will be from State Fayre Bakery, and we will take care of the ordering.
Package 2: Weekend
Suggested donation: £250
The ceremony includes one Bar Mitzvah ceremony prep session, completion certificate & Rabbi’s blessing.
A typical Shabbat service schedule:
- 10:30am - Morning service begins (please arrive 15 minutes prior)
- 11:15am - Torah reading
- The Bar Mitzvah boy will present the Parsha quiz or Parsha in a nutshell.
- Haftorah & Father's blessing
- 12:10pm - Musaf prayer

SOME NOTES:
- Our Shul capacity is 120 people, this INCLUDES approximately 30 regular attendees.
- As Tefillin is not worn on Shabbat, a Tefillin inauguration should be scheduled.
- Our weekly Sunday Tefillin wrap usually begins at 7:30am, lasting approx 45 minutes, followed by a light breakfast.
